
Larry began his career working for the international public accounting firms of Ernst & Young and Grant Thornton in New York City. He was responsible for the audits of numerous publicly and privately held companies.
He then served as corporate controller for manufacturing, distribution, and service companies in New York City and Philadelphia, PA. During that time, he gained significant financial and operational experience designing financial reporting and internal control systems.
During 1986, Larry accepted a position with a company engaged in the manufacture of generic pharmaceuticals located in Indianapolis, Indiana. During his ten years there, he served in various capacities ranging from Controller, Sr. VP, Finance, ultimately to General Manager where he was responsible for the entire operation. During that time, he took the company from a small $3 million dollar operation to more than $75 million in annual sales.
Larry next served as the Chief Financial Officer of a large, not-for-profit organization in Dayton, Ohio where he was responsible for the financial and technological operations of its many operating divisions including a community and recreation center, a long-term care facility, and a foundation with total assets exceeding $30 million.
Most recently Larry guided a Dayton, Ohio based company through a successful $25 million public debt offering through the SEC and the establishment of internal controls over financial reporting as mandated by Sarbanes-Oxley and oversaw the tremendous growth of a Florida based, internationally recognized, food service company. He also negotiated a $10 million dollar increase in the company’s debt facilities.
Larry received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting from Penn State University and is a Certified Public Accountant.
